Frequently asked Questions

FAQ

Find answers to common questions about our funding and the application process.

Who can apply for a grant?

We fund small UK charities and not-for-profit organisations that are making a positive difference in their communities. Your work must be charitable in nature and for the public benefit. Generally, we favour smaller, lean charities where relatively modest funding can make a meaningful difference.

What areas of work do you support?

We support projects and organisations working in Arts & Culture, Education, Community & Social Inclusion, and Health & Wellbeing.

How much funding do you typically provide?

We usually make grants between £300 and £5,000. We aim to provide flexible funding that helps you achieve the greatest impact.

How do I apply?

Please complete our online application form. You will need to provide information about your organisation, your project and your financial position, and upload any requested documents.

What information do I need to provide?

You will need to provide details about your organisation, the amount you are requesting and what it will be used for, your income and funding sources, and upload your latest accounts and a budget or breakdown of costs. Please do not upload extraneous or unnecessarily lengthy supporting documents.

How are applications reviewed?

All applications are carefully reviewed by our trustees. We assess each application against our funding criteria, the potential impact of the work and the funds available at the time.

How long does the process take?

The time required to review an application may vary. We will contact you once a decision has been reached.

Can I apply more than once?

Yes. You are welcome to apply again in the future, although each application will be considered separately against our current funding criteria.

What if I have more questions?

If you have any further questions, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
